Based in the western Amazon, the Amazon Frontlines team works hand-in-hand with Indigenous communities and organisations on hard hitting legal campaigning and Indigenous land titling, training and equipping community land patrols, Indigenous-led territorial mapping, strengthening community autonomy through clean water and solar energy, revitalising and protecting ancestral cultures, strengthening women’s leadership and women-led micro-enterprises, innovative intercultural education, training Indigenous youth as filmmakers and connecting Indigenous social movements with a global network of supporters.
