The only conservation society for whales and dolphins of Hong Kong. Their work focuses around the Chinese White Dolphin, Indio-Pacific Humpback Dolphin and Hong Kong’s Pink Dolphins. Their numbers are dropping rapidly from 250 in the 1990’s, to 79 in 2018 to 32 in 2019. They promote public awareness, preservation of habitats, raising standards of Hong Kong’s whale watching activities and to conduct research. They are involved in stopping reclamation projects such as for the airports third runway and bridges which destroy the dolphins habitat.
